Spring, tulips and colour circles

Hello! Thank you for all your nice comments on Bubbles! I made it for a swap, so I had to send it away and that was hard because I like the quilt so much. But, that’s part of the game, isn’t it?

We are enjoying some lovely spring weather. The sun is shining abundantly, and the world really looks so much happier that way. There’s only one thing not so nice about it; it shows that I really have to clean my windows!

Last Thursday was International Womensday, and because of that my host-son surprised me with a huge bouquet of tulips. How great is that?

It is even after 6 months every day a joy to have him around.

The colour-circle quilts are finished. I quilted them in the ditch.

The binding is dark blue (thank you for the advice!); again a batik, but with dotted circles in different shades of blue.

They are hanging on our freshly painted white walls, and I’m really very happy with them.

  1. Those are all really lovely, both tulips and quilts. They liven up the white wall very nicely and who can be sad with a rainbow in the room?
