First of all a big thank you to all you lovely ladies, who left a comment. It’s always a question for me, to take the time and reply to a comment, or to use that time to create, to read your wonderful blogs, and leave a comment there. There are so many amazing blogs to read, that I could fill every single day just doing that. So I try to do sort of a combination of the above; every day I read a couple of blogs, I leave a couple of comments, reply on a couple of comments on my blog, and then I always feel I have stayed way too long at the computer!! Sometimes I really wonder how some of you do this; you make many more blog posts then I do, I read your comments on so many blogs and the amount of projects you work on (and FINISH!!!) is amazing. Don’t get me wrong; this is not envy speaking, it’s just me wondering.
In the meantime, I have given my little rosebuds a lot of love and care, and guess what? They have grown into beautiful, gorgeous roses!
Never knew they could grow this fast!!
The green leaves around the rosebud, are made exactly the same way as the leaves underneath the grown rose. The only difference is the direction in which you go and attach them to the bud or the rose. Holding the rosebud downwards, you work clockwise. With the rose, you work counter clockwise and in both cases, the leaves are attached with a slipstitch into the middle of the flower petals.
Groetjes, Dorien
Those rosey blooms are amazing, the way they grow so spectacularly! Very clever!
