Usually I’m working on one or two projects at the same time. This time however, I’m really not counting anymore. Maybe it is a lack of focus, or, if I’m kind to myself I would say it’s more a excess of creativity.
For the shop I’m making a few more Rose Scarves, So that is why the tray above is filled with these little flowers; it’s a bit of an assembly line that I’ve set up.
But there’s a lot more on the needles.
December is on its way, so a lot of gifts have to be made. This is actually kind of alittle joke for one of my family members; I’ll show the finished items after they have been given away.
And since a couple of months I’ve been working on a new cardigan. I’m not sure what I was thinking to make a straight black cardigan; this is so boring, that it seems to take forever.
On the side, there are these letters:
The idea of another Scrabble Pillow but even though I’ve made the tiles already, I’m not too sure about the words I want on the pillow. So for now it is put aside.
Something else which is put aside for now is the idea of making a cover for the sewing machine. My workspace is in the living room, and often the machine is standing on the table. Not a very nice sight, so I thought of making a cover for it. The idea is to use patterns and designs which have a direct relation to the machine. So I think I’m going to make a piece with a lot of the stitches which the machine can make, an embroidered piece, and so on.
The design is from Embroidery Library, but I’ve changed almost all colors.
While making this post, I realize these are not the only wip’s. Fabric is waiting to be turned into blouses; there is a pile of fabric I bought to make special gifts for December; ……Maybe I need a to-do-list to make sure everything will turn out right.
