A long time ago , in one of the first grades of school, I learned that Spring starts at March 21, so that would be 2 days from now. I’m afraid that’s not going to happen this year! It is still very cold and there is a lot of wind, almost like Fall. So when I was thinking of something new to take on, I had a lot of ‘Fall Ideas’, and imagine my surprise, when I came across this QAL;
Every week a new block, with the main theme Forest. All paper piecing, not too difficult, but there are some very tiny scraps used.
They started a few weeks ago, so I had some catching up to do. The first block was of a beautiful woodpecker.
What I really love about this pattern is the ‘shadow’ of the head of the woodpecker, which actually makes the head go up and down!
The second block was Feathers:
Especially in this block there were some very tiny pieces, but it was very nice to make.
Yesterday the third block was posted, so I know what I’m going to do tomorrow!
If you would like to join too, it is still open and completely free!

ReplyDeleteDat ziet er wel leuk uit. Het is dat jij het zegt, anders was me die schaduw me nog niet opgevallen. Heel knap gedaan.
ReplyDeleteVeel plezier met dit project.
