Matroushkas

Hello. Thank you for all your lovely comments on my clothes hangers. Yesterday my husband and I took the day off, to go to Amsterdam, more specific to the Hermitage Museum. This is indeed a part of the famous museum in St. Petersburg, and parts of its collection are exposed in Amsterdam. This time there is an exhibition of the Impressionist, including beautiful paintings of Monet, Pissarro and Renoir. It had been a long time since I visited an exhibition like this, but it was absolutely worth it.

At home, I’ve been sewing again. Not really something new, but an familiar item: a Knitting Needle Organizer.

This is what I started with. Using turquoise and pink, which is an unusual combination for me.

Inside again a lot of pockets for dpns and circular needles, scissors and haberdashery.

On the back cute matroushkas.

And on the front again an embroidered panel.

  3. Weer een prachtig hoesje, lief stofje en leuk borduursel.

Dat zou iedere naaister in huis moeten hebben.
