After a few days of blocking I can finally show you this new scarf. I made it for the mother of my host son. He has seen me knitting and crocheting all year, and he asked me to make this.
Because I exactly new how I was going to make it, I wrote down the pattern, before I started, so I could test it immediately. With a little help from my husband I also managed to make a good chart for the design.
The yarn I used was again Drops Delight in two different colourways, to obtain the contrast.
Of course the pattern is now available in my shop.
I hope you like it!

En of I like it! Het is echt prachtig.
ReplyDeleteHet patroon van bloem en dambord heb je leuk gecombineerd.
Volgens mij heb je weer iemand heel blij gemaakt met deze sjaal.

ReplyDeleteThe scarf is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDorien,
ReplyDeleteThis scarf is absolutely gorgeous. Purples are my favorite, and the yarn you chose really works well with the pattern...Lucky lady that gets to wear this around her neck.
Hugs,
Karen

ReplyDeleteWow! This looks absolutely fantastic! I love the contrast between the flowers and the squares. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteI love your scarf. Is it double knitting or stranded fair isle style, I can't quite tell. Whatever it is, the flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHis mother will be so happy to receive this. The colors and designs are so beautifully blended in this design. What lovely work!
