This week I’ve been paper piecing a lot. The mini quilt I’m making so much fun to do, that I even started a second one.
In both quilts I’m making a kind of color circle, using scraps.
The first top is quite bold, the second has a much lighter appearance.
It is so nice to see what you can make with the same colors, the same kind of pattern, but just small differences.
Both tops are waiting for a border, but I can’t decide whether to use only a small binding (probably dark blue), or to make a border in strips, using the main colors in the top. I do know that I want both to have the same finishing. Any ideas?

Hi Dorien! I love both of your quilts! They are just so beautiful and amazing with those colours! Dark blue borde sounds good to me.

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilts! My favourite is the second one but they are both so jolly, I think a lovely blue binding would look just stunning. Can't wait to see them finished.
