Words

Writing the last post, it never came to my mind that you lovely ladies would respond with so many compliments. I even felt a little embarrassed. All I wanted to do, was express my amazement about how wonderful things are going.

wordle-do

Almost a year ago I started to write this blog. And from the start I wrote it in English. The reason for this was not so much to be able to get more readers, but mostly because I wanted to practise my English. And of course, I got stuck quite often. Certainly in the beginning, but still, Google Translate is a very good friend.

Also from the beginning, I have read every single comment and loved all the nice things that were said. And on occasion, there were words used which I didn’t know, and had to look what they meant.

The Wordle contains words I had to search. I kept a little list  from the beginning with these words.

Thank you ladies, for helping me to improve.

Groetjes, Dorien

  1. Hello Dorien! I read your last post but didn't have a second to write to you! Congratulations! I'm so happy that your work is going so well! Your crafts are so beautiful and unique and I just adore that flower scarf!
With the english it's the same for me - every day I need to check some words and how to write them. But it's so good to improve our English.
I wish you great and creative weekend!
