Sometimes all you need to make something special is a very simple design. How about a 2-round Granny-square.
Then making more of these squares, and joining them with a slip stitch either in the corner or in the middle of a side.
It is that simple! And I just love the result.
There are 47 rows of 7 squares. The scarf measures 22 cm (8.5 inch) by 165 cm (65 inch).
It looks as if I’ve used a huge amount of colours, but that’s just not the case. I made the scarf with leftovers Drops Delight, and because this is a selfstriping yarn, you get all these different shades.
Colours used: 11, 14, 06, 08, 03, 05, and 02
Total weight 250 grams.
Enjoy your weekend!

Very nice! and a great stash-buster too :)
oh prachtig zeg! Dat is wel een hele klus geweest, maar het resultaat is geweldig!
Very pretty Dorien, after the first couple of photos I was surprised to see that the squares were really very little and made a scarf. I thought it was going to be a blanket!
What a great idea, and using a random yarn every little square will be different, brilliant
Mooi zeg!Dat ziet er goed uit!
This looks very lovely indeed!
Beautiful - it looks lovely and warm :-) and so light and cuddly.
