Stripy Elephant for my Sister

WOW!!! It is unbelievable what happened the last 2 days. The amount of page views has been amazing, and I’ve had so many lovely comments on my new blanket. Thank you all so much!!

One of the blogs I love to read is Jeanet’s blog. She always knows to find the loveliest projects and patterns. It is really a great inspiration. Last week she told about a pattern for little crochet elephants. And because my little sister had been collecting elephants for a long time, it was obvious that I had to make one for her.

Isn’t this the cutest elephant ever??

You can find the pattern here.

groetjes, keep up the crafty work!

I have just discovered your lovely blog and have now put you on my RSS feed so will be back to visit often! As with many others I am so impressed with your circle in a square afghan! and now the super cute elephant! I did not notice anywhere if you said what the yarn fiber is, is it a cotton? or what?

He has the most magnificent ears I've ever seen on a toy elephant! I am sure he'll be well loved too. It is no surprise to me that your blanket is so well received, good work Dorien.
